- Ryan has 2 brothers
- Graduated from Bishop Gorman High School and attended Catholic school for 12 years.
- Ryan's parents divorced when he was 3 years old and he was raised by his father.
- His dad, an alcoholic, was often hospitalized, inspiring tracks like "Camisado" on their first album.
- Because of his father's disease, Ryan felt a huge responsibility for caring for his dad.
- On July 28th 2006, Ryan's dad died while the band was en route from Vancouver to Seattle on their summer tour. They missed three shows.
- He graduated from high school with the Class of 2004 at Orlean's Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
- He asked their manager if they could keep their songs from being played on the radio.
- Doesn't think "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" is even that good.
- Is fascinated by any true love story, such as Romeo and Juliet, Phantom of the Opera, or Titanic. The idea of a "gentleman wearing a suit and being literate" also fascinates him.
